Residual products
At the end of processing the rapeseed into an edible oil, a residue of solids remains.
The last product we obtain from refining is the so-called „extraction meal“. This rapeseed meal is used in livestock farming, poultry farming and aquaculture as a high-protein feedstuff.
The high-quality rape cake from cold pressing is also used as animal feed. Here we are researching further areas of application, also in food processing.
Another by-product is lecithin, which is also used by the food industry to produce food as a natural emulsifier.

Our rapeseed cake and rapeseed extraction meal have been tested at the VLOG “feed production” level and meet the requirements of the VLOG “without genetic engineering” production and testing standards version 19.01.
